Malta is a Mosebacke Horse created in polymer clay. Height at the withers is 17 cm, and total height 25.5 cm.
The Mosebacke Horse Malta is inspired by the rocky island of Malta in the southern Mediterranean. The legs of the horse tone in the azure color of the sea around this exciting island. The horse's front has been inspired by the sandstone blocks that many buildings are constructed of. On the shoulder, the Maltese cross, on the back a building from Ir-Rabat on the neighboring island of Gozo and on the loins are lace pattern that symbolizes the Maltese bizilla. The hole in the stomach symbolizes the many imaginative holes in the rocks that are in Malta in the form of caves, natural formations, smuggling dens and much more.
